School Policies

Child protection, anti-bullying, grievance redressal and inclusion.

Child Protection Policy

The school follows the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 and CBSE guidelines on child safety. All staff, including transport and support staff, are police-verified and trained in child protection. Any concern may be raised directly with the Principal or through the Grievance Redressal Committee.

Anti-Bullying Policy

Bullying of any kind — physical, verbal, social or online — is not tolerated. An Anti-Bullying Committee, constituted as CBSE requires, investigates every complaint. Students and parents may report anonymously through the complaint box outside the office or directly to any class teacher.

Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH)

An Internal Committee is constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013. Its composition and contact details are displayed on the staff notice board.

Grievance Redressal

Parents and students may submit a grievance in writing at the school office or by email. Acknowledgement is given within two working days and the matter is resolved within fifteen working days. Unresolved matters may be escalated to the School Management Committee.

Inclusive Education

In line with NEP 2020 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, the school admits Children With Special Needs and provides a special educator, ramps, accessible washrooms and reasonable accommodations in assessment as permitted by CBSE.

Health, Safety and Wellness

A trained counsellor and wellness teacher support students under the CBSE and Manodarpan framework. Annual health check-ups are conducted and records maintained. Fire drills and evacuation drills are held each term.

Fee Policy

Fees are charged strictly as published in the Mandatory Public Disclosure. No capitation fee or donation is accepted in any form, in compliance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws.
